Musescore came a long way to be a full fledged notation software it is now.
It has all the abilities of other notation software and some others.
It is customisable so you can set hotkeys on how you like it to some you were more comfortable using other software.
Besides the normal sounds included now has better ones available via their Muse Hub(for free).
If you don't like those and want to use your own VST's you can load them in.
